My name is Mauricio Tsukuda, but most people call me Mau. I am a third generation Japanese descendant born in Brazil, and first generation immigrant in the USA with a dual citizenship in both countries. My logo/watermark is actually my last name "Tsukuda" in Japanese kanji.
I'm a mechanical engineer by profession and a photographer by passion. I live in Cary, NC with my wife Danielle, our daughter Yuri, and our cats Taji, Keoki, and Onyx. I love taking photos of cars and nature. And if I can combine both in a photo shoot, I'm 100% in my element.
I have been taking photos pretty much my whole life, but it wasn't until 2008 or so that I got into digital photography and post processing. To me, taking the photos is only half the fun of photography. Post processing is the other half, and it's where I really get to transform the images into what I see in my head.
